For some folks, until lately they just had to deal with this type of situation. Until the creation of political blogs, there was simply no great information evaluation that didn't attempt to tow a reasonable line. As a result of politics weblogs, this transformed everything. I have been reading through liberal political blogs for a few decades now, and I really feel like they have truly enhanced my understanding of existing events. We live in such a conservative culture that much of the real news is censored through the mainstream media.
